There was a temporary outage this afternoon related to the upgrade of server software. I upgraded the server to be compatible with the new Xen release, but there was a problem with one of the files used by Cyrus-IMAPD. Nov 15 13:06:15 hugli master[1763]: about to exec /usr/lib/cyrus-imapd/lmtpd Nov 15 13:06:15 hugli lmtpunix[1763]: executed Nov 15 13:06:16 hugli lmtpunix[1763]: DBERROR: skiplist recovery /var/lib/imap/deliver.db: 262FF8 should be ADD or DELETE Nov 15 13:06:16 hugli lmtpunix[1763]: DBERROR: opening /var/lib/imap/deliver.db: cyrusdb error Nov 15 13:06:16 hugli lmtpunix[1763]: FATAL: lmtpd: unable to init duplicate delivery database Nov 15 13:06:16 hugli master[1043]: process 1763 exited, status 75 The file /var/lib/imap/deliver.db is used to detect when the same message is delivered multiple times, and isn't critical. Removing the file causes cyrus to create an empty one and continue. -- Russell McOrmond, Internet Consultant: <http://www.flora.ca/> Please help us tell the Canadian Parliament to protect our property rights as owners of Information Technology.
